Give

The Bible calls us to be faithful in our giving, especially in times like these.

We are thankful for the faithful giving family of Building on the Rock. In these times, there are so many ways your giving can help grow God’s Kingdom here, there, and everywhere! In addition to giving at church during our Sunday worship services, we are thankful that we are able provide three additional secure ways to give financially:

Other Ways to Give

Amazon Smile

You can donate by making purchases through Amazon. Start by visit our Amazon Smile page to connect “Building On the Rock Community Church of the C&MA Inc” to your account. Your Time & Talents

There are plenty of ways to give and contribute to our church on Sundays. We can use people to help lead worship, adults to help with the nursery school and children’s church, servers to help with our hospitality team, and more. Just speak to any of us and we can help you serve.

Or you can serve during the week. You can join or lead a community group. Or simply reach out to you neighbors to check in how they are doing and if they need anything.

FAQs

What should I give?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. -Romans 12:1 (NIV)

At Building on the Rock, we believe that everything we have belongs to God. We also believe that His people are responsible stewards over everything He gives us. What we give to God is our act of worship and acknowledges His ownership. Thank you so much for your faithfulness to ask God what He would have you give. The offerings of our church family are greatly appreciated!

What is the General Fund?

Then they faithfully brought in the contributions, tithes and dedicated gifts. -2 Chronicles 31:12a (NIV)

The General Fund is the storehouse for all of our giving that is planned by each family unit. It pays for all of the things needed for the church to function on a weekly basis, such as building costs, bills, and utilities. We also send a percentage of the General Fund to support mission work happening in our local community, our partnering churches, and globally for the ministry of our international workers.

What is the Kingdom Fund?

In 2 Corinthians 8, the churches of Macedonia, in great trial of affliction, gave according and beyond their ability to the Lord and to the kingdom.

The Kingdom Fund stores giving above and beyond our individual offerings to support the workings of God in all places. This fund allows Building on the Rock to be benevolent to others, such as helping people and growing churches in our community. It also helps pay for special projects outside of what's funded by the General Fund. We also send a percentage of the Kingdom Fund to support mission work happening in our local community, our partnering churches, and globally for the ministry of our international workers.

What is the Great Commission Fund?

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit -Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

The Great Commission Fund is the primary fund used by the Christian & Missionary Alliance to fund a vast majority of the ministries of our more than 700 international workers and U.S. church planters. This allows these missionaries to focus on their callings: providing, baptizing, serving, planting, helping, overseeing, producing, and training. Building on the Rock gives to the Great Commission Fund from our General Fund and Kingdom Fund.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Matthew 6:19-21
